PARTNER WITH BEARING
Give the families you work with something no one else offers.
UK Ready prepares international students to arrive safely and confidently into life in the UK — before they land, and again in their first weeks here. For the organisations who guide and support those students and their families, it is a way to offer something concrete, credible, and genuinely valued.
PARTNER WITH BEARING
The first few weeks are the ones that matter.
Every year, more than 400,000 international students arrive in the UK for the first time. The first few weeks are the highest-risk period — before they know the city, the systems, or how to get help. It is when scams target them, when unfamiliarity bites hardest, and when a single bad experience can shape their whole time here.
Safety is not a small concern for the families sending them. It is one of the biggest: 75% of prospective international students rank safety and a welcoming environment among their top five factors when choosing where to study (QS International Student Survey 2024). Families want to know their child will be looked after — and they remember the people who took that seriously.
UK Ready is built for exactly this window: practical, rehearsed capability that helps a student arrive prepared, not anxious. Readiness, not fear.

FOR EDUCATION AGENTS
A genuine point of difference for the families you place.
When a family is choosing where — and with whom — to send their child abroad, safety is one of their deepest concerns. An agent who can point to a concrete safety programme, not just reassurance, stands apart from every agent who can't.
-
Offer the families you work with something no competing agent does — practical safety preparation, delivered by professionals.
-
Strengthen your service at exactly the moment families are deciding, when trust matters most.
-
Especially powerful in markets where safety is a leading concern for parents choosing a UK education.
-
We work with agents on a straightforward partnership basis — let's talk about how it could work for you.
FOR GUARDIANSHIP ORGANISATIONS
Strengthen the care you already promise families.
As a guardian, the welfare of the students in your care is your responsibility — and your reputation. UK Ready sits naturally inside what you already provide, giving your students genuine, practised safety capability and giving their parents real confidence in the care you offer.
-
Add concrete safety preparation to the pastoral care you already provide — without adding to your workload.
-
Evidence your duty of care with a structured programme and a completion report for every student.
-
Give the families who choose you real reassurance — a clear point of difference when they are deciding who to trust.
-
Offer it to your families as part of your service — let's talk about how a partnership could work.

THE STANDARD WE HOLD
Founder-led. Delivered by people who have done the job.
UK Ready is founded and led by Tom Frearson — a former Royal Marines Commando who went on to work in close protection and professional security, and who is a FREC-qualified emergency medic and professional educator.
Every cohort is delivered by two facilitators. The lead instructor holds a Level 3 teaching qualification, Level 3 Conflict Management, FREC 3 pre-hospital emergency care, and the Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health. Both facilitators hold an Enhanced DBS with children's barred list and Level 2 Safeguarding Children and Adults, and both are assessed on UK Ready content and safeguarding at induction. Groups are capped at sixteen, and the programme is designed to CPD accreditation standards, with accreditation in progress.
Let's talk about working together.
We're launching UK Ready commercially in January 2027, and running complimentary pilot cohorts this autumn ahead of it. If you work with international students arriving in the UK — as an agent or a guardian — we'd value a conversation about how a partnership could work, and what it could mean for the families you support.
Know your bearing.
