UK Ready
A two-phase safety and security orientation for international students arriving in the UK — completed before they land, and again in their first two weeks here.
10 online modules · 6+ hours in person · maximum 16 students · certificate and completion report
What UK Ready is
UK Ready is a structured safety orientation delivered at the point of arrival. It runs in two phases. Students complete an online foundation before they land, then attend a practical, in-person day in their first two weeks in the UK.
It teaches how the UK works — 999, 101 and 111, NHS access, banking, reporting routes, and the Ask for Angela scheme — so a student knows the system rather than having to learn it the hard way.
It is designed to CPD accreditation standards, with independent accreditation in progress.

Why it helps

The first few weeks set the tone.
Students who know how the city and the systems work settle in faster and spend less time worrying about the basics.

Confidence comes from having done it.
Rehearsing something once under instruction is worth far more than reading about it. Students leave having practised, not just listened.

Peace of mind for families.
Completion report sent home confirming what their son or daughter has covered and practised — reassurance they can see.
