1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, keep it secure, and help the owner understand how it is used.
This policy explains which cookies bearinguk.com uses and how you control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.
We use cookies under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 and the UK GDPR, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
2. Your choice
When you first visit bearinguk.com you are shown a cookie banner.

6. Third parties
Wix sets the essential cookies as our website platform. Google sets the analytics cookies where you have accepted them. Both act under contract with us and handle the information as described in our Privacy Policy, including where it is transferred outside the UK.
Payment pages are handled by Stripe, which sets its own cookies for fraud prevention and to complete a transaction. These are essential to processing a payment.
7. Browser controls
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse all cookies, or warn you before one is set. Blocking essential cookies will stop parts of the site working.
Guidance for each major browser is available in its own help pages, and general guidance is published by the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
8. Changes and contact
We review this policy when the site changes and at least annually. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
Questions about cookies, or about how we use personal information, go to contact@bearinguk.com.
