UK Ready (Pilot Cohort)

Service Description

UK Ready — a two-phase safety and security orientation for international students arriving in the UK. It runs in two parts: an online foundation completed before departure, and a hands-on practical day in the UK within the first two weeks of arrival. Students learn how the UK works — 999, 101 and 111, banking norms, reporting routes — and then practise what to do. Situational awareness out in the environment. Conflict avoidance and de-escalation. First aid for mental health. Hands-on emergency first aid including CPR, AED and anaphylaxis. The day closes with live scenarios, a named certificate and a completion report sent home. Maximum sixteen students. Every session is practised, not described.
